MASTER PLAN
The NDSU Research & Technology Park recently completed a master planning project in August 2008 to serve as a guide for future growth and development of the Park.
Currently, the Park is comprised of six buildings totaling 295,000 square feet on 55 acres of land.
Sasaki Associates, Inc., located in San Francisco, CA, in conjunction with JLG Architects, located in Fargo, ND, was selected as the consultants for the project.
Sasaki has extensive experience with over 400 public and private collage and universities across the nation and has a high level of experience and understanding in master planning for research parks. Sasaki/JLG was also engaged with North Dakota State University to assist with their campus master plan. The partnership offered the continuity of knowledge and understanding of the campus planning issues that face the entire NDSU community. The RTP and North Dakota State University worked together closely during the master planning process.
Sasaki/JLG reviewed past park development and recommended concepts and guidelines for future growth and expansion along with space utilitization. The completed Master Plan guides the location, orientation, and design of individual sites within the Park and evolves a long range concept of the entire Park.
