Steps for Selection:
Notify the NDSU Research and Technology Park by phone of your interest
Please contact Tony Grindberg, Executive Director, by phone at (701) 499-3610 or email tony@ndsuresearchpark.com to discuss your business and schedule an initial meeting and tour of the Center.
Submit an executive summary of your business
Submit an executive summary of your business to tony@ndsuresearchpark.com. Please include in your executive summary a brief description of your business, products, market characteristics, financials, goals, and management.
Initial meeting with the Center Staff and tour of the Center
At this point, you will be asked to meet with staff at the Center to learn more about your business. We suggest you prepare and present a PowerPoint presentation for our staff members to better introduce us to your business.
Formal application process begins
After meeting with Center staff and determining a potential fit of your business with the Center, the formal application to become an incubator tenant begins:
Application to Incubator Advisory Board
You will be asked to complete the formal application, which requires the submission of a business plan and in-depth description of your business.
Panel Interview
Center staff, a portion of the Advisory Board, and/or industry specialists will formally interview you and/or representatives of your business.
Incubator Advisory Board Meeting and Decision
Following your presentation to the Advisory Board, the Board will meet to review your application. The Board will discuss and make a decision regarding your application and make a recommendation to the appropriate length of occupancy.
