A respected consultant has recommended that the NDSU Research and Technology Park proceed with plans to develop a 40,000-square foot technology incubator. An incubator is a location in which start-up businesses receive support and access to critical tools, information, contacts and resources.

Message from the director
This month the annual conference of the Association of University Research Parks will meet in Vancouver, British Columbia. The theme of this year's conference is "Innovating Globally." As I reviewed the agenda and thought about the accomplishments NDSU is achieving and the progress of our research park, I thought what an appropriate theme for us here at NDSU and North Dakota.

Aside from leading teams of researchers in designing state-of-the-art microsensors, pushing the limits is what Joel Jorgenson does best.
